This is wonderful!

My friend recommended me to learn Norwegian, and then that's what I'g doing! In that location'southward barely whatever ads, which I notice fantastic as it is easier to learn that style. Though, I dislike how we accept to look 10 hours for my side by side lesson! Anyways, to sum this up, I love this app but maybe it needs a chip of improvement! (Likewise, I'one thousand a kid so my formatting may be a bit off.) Cheerio!

Grammatical gender?

I like Drops as an app in and of itself (especially for casually studying languages I don't have the time to completely devote myself to)... just is in that location a reason none of the Norwegian nouns have a matching commodity to help point their gender, the style other Germanic and Romance languages do? E.g., en måne, en fot, et brød, etc.

Grammatical gender does still have influence in Norwegian (for example... knowing what version of "a" to utilize before a noun), even if it's not Equally important as in, say, German. Not even getting into feminine nouns, which yeah you don't have to know but if you tin can learn that something can be ei jente at the same fourth dimension y'all learn jente, why wouldn't you? It just makes the Norwegian form kinda useless, since if you're going to learn nouns in a linguistic communication with grammatical gender of some kind, y'all Demand to larn what its gender is at the same time.

A mention somewhere that this is specifically for Bokmål and non Nynorsk probably wouldn't hurt, either.
